No more wealthy fascists

(A cogitation:)

I don't begrudge people a nice place to live, expensive Malibu digs or whatever, and I don't even begrudge wealth per se if it is earned and earned honestly.

What I detest are the rich who refuse to fight the fascism. Especially at this bleak hour.  Now we live in a world of corporatism and  fascism.  Just think if the wealthy were real leaders who would use their wealth to fight this slime of corruption that keeps people who refuse to conform to its dictates down.

The rich have resources.  They can hire lawyers and investigators to help us fight the evildoers, they can fund great newspapers and television stations to spread truth and notions of justice around to send the fascists running to the backwoods and expose corrupt "police" which is endemic in a third-world type backwater like Canada, the northern section of the fascist American "fourth reich".

But most of the rich so obviously don't fight fascism - in fact they do the opposite: they create it by their economic deeds and even just by keeping the status quo going.

In fact most of the wealthy - is it not safe to conjecture - would not even be rich were it not for fascism.  That is to say they are fascists.  So they aren’t going to fight the hand the put them where they are.

Still they should be fighting it.  If they had a moral conscience they would be fighting fascism.  But they don't have moral consciences by and large - that is part of their sickness.

However, going into the free world those of us who are not fascists imagine, we have to ensure that we create a news media that is is diligent about exposing where and how the wealthy get their money.  Where does all the laundered money from illegal activities go?

This will help to weed out the fascists who are corrupt … so that eventually no fascist will be wealthy. 

Fascists will not have any wealth at all.  Then we will have rich people who deserve it because they will not be corrupt and crooked.  They will be the type who ... fight the fascists.

If the modus operandi aforementioned had been performed diligently by the now dwindling newspaper business and/or by the once fledgling television business instead of selling its soul and if we'd had real police in North America and England to act on good (public and otherwise) information about corruption and do further criminal investigations then fascism would not be such a colossal obstruction and battle to overcome as it is here in the uber fascist Maritimes and elsewhere in the Anglo world.
